Out of town pool report #1 - Cycling Good morning from Rehoboth. President Biden went cycling at Gordon's Pond. Accompanied by Secret Service agents on bikes, the president, wearing a cycling helmet, white polo and dark shorts, went at a leisurely pace. A couple of dozen tourists lined the route and cheered as POTUS cycled by. He took a hand off the handlebars and waved at them. He then waved to the pool and said something brief and inaudible — we are trying to listen back to find out what it was. It wasn't clear if it was in response to questions on Ukraine's Kursk incursion and on Gaza. He didn't stop and continued on his way. |

Out of town pool report #2 - cycling back POTUS cycled back 50 minutes later at 10.45 am. He didn't slow down for the pool and didn't respond to questions about Trump's comments that POTUS was an 'angry man' after leaving the race, and whether he trusts Netanyahu. POTUS smiled and waved for another small crowd of onlookers who cheered and clapped, with one person shouting out 'thank you'. He then cycled off in the direction of his residence, with Secret Service in tow. |
