Afternoon. The pool has been swept and is holding in a van near Gordons Pond.

Press van joined up with motorcade from Biden home at 17:25. Rolling for unspecified location

Out-of-town pool report #5: St. Edmond's Catholic Church

Motorcade pulled up at St. Edmond's Catholic Church at 17:32.

POTUS was already out of the SUV and out of sight around the corner by the time pool took up position.

Out-of-town pool report #6: church departure

POTUS emerged from church into sight at 18:25. Wearing grey slacks and a navy sports coat.

He climbed on the step of his waiting SUV at the corner of King Charles Avenue and waved to fans who cheered. Maybe about 50 or so in the late afternoon sun.

He ignored shouted questions on Maui and the special counsel.

Motorcade rolling at 18:27.

Out-of-town pool report #7: lid

Pool van peeled off the motorcade and a lid was called at 18:35.
