Out of town pool report #1 - Motorcade

Good morning from a sunny Gordons Pond.

Out of town pool report #2 - M1 lift

President Biden and the First Lady arrived at Gordons Pond at 8.46am in the motorcade. POTUS, wearing a blue suit, and FLOTUS, wearing a dark blazer and white pants, climbed straight into Marine One. They were too far away for questions.

Marine One lifted off at 8.50am, bound for the White House, and with that we're handing over to the in-town pool.

In-town pool #1 — gathered for arrival

The pool has been called to gather for President Biden's arrival at the White House.

In-town pool #2 — POTUS arrival

Marine One touched down on the South Lawn at 9:45 a.m.

Biden stepped out at 9:48 a.m. He paused to chat briefly with First Lady Jill Biden. FLOTUS then walked toward the residence and Biden headed to the Oval Office without stopping to take questions.

He entered the Oval at 9:50 am.

In-town pool #3 — lunch lid

The press office has called a lunch lid until 1:45 p.m.

From NSC Spokesman Sean Savett:

President Biden spoke today with France, Germany, Italy, and the United Kingdom to discuss the situation in the Middle East and ongoing efforts to de-escalate tensions and reach a ceasefire and hostage release deal in Gaza. A readout of the call will be released shortly.
