Out-of-town pool report #1: Gather

Morning from Rehoboth Beach. Pool has been swept and is holding for POTUS departure at Gordon's Pond as per guidance

Out-of-town pool report #2: Marine One

Motorcade pulled up at 10:06. POTUS in suit emerged a minute later. He walked directly to Marine One, saluted the Marines at the bottom of the steps, and boarded.

Pool was too far away to even shout questions.

Marine One was wheels up at 10:10.

In town pool report #1 Arrival

POTUS walked off Marine One at 11:09 a.m., crossed the lawn and entered the Oval Office.

He kept a fair distance from the pool and did not respond to shouted questions regarding Sen. Tuberville, Hunter Biden and the special counsel. He was far enough away that it was unclear whether he could hear the questions over the background noise.

The press briefing is moving up to 2pm ET. Administrator Criswell will join at the top of press briefing remotely to give an update on the administration's whole of government response to the Maui wildfires.
