Air Force One was wheels down at Joint Base Andrews around 5:20 pm.

President Biden was asked about a ceasefire deal in Gaza and why he held an executive picnic today. He responded, but his answers were inaudible.

Supplemental #7: Biden brief remarks

President Biden was asked about his upcoming DNC speech and a ceasefire in the Middle East upon landing at Joint Base Andrews.

The president said he feels "good, real good" about his speech in Chicago tomorrow at the DNC.

On a ceasefire, Biden said it is "still underway, we're not giving up, still possible"

I asked POTUS if he has spoken with former Speaker Nancy Pelosi, but he did not answer.

President Biden is back at the White House. A lid was called around 5:55 pm.
