Good morning from Wilmington, DE. WH pushed this morning's call time to 12:00pm.

POTUS has no public events on his schedule today

Travel pool report #3 — rolling

Pool bus linked up with the motorcade at 4:57pm outside of the Wilmington residence but did not put eyes on POTUS… rolling for an unscheduled stop.

Travel pool report #4 — mass

Motorcade arrived at St. Joseph on the Brandywine at 5:01pm.

POTUS — wearing khaki slacks, a white button down and carrying a dark blazer — entered the church at 5:02pm.

Travel pool report #5 — mass ends/rolling

POTUS, now wearing his jacket, exited the church at 5:54pm, waved to pool, and hopped in his SUV without stopping to answer questions on Iran and riots in the UK.

Motorcade is rolling as of 5:56pm with storm clouds descending on Wilmington.

Motorcade arrived at a nearby location at 5:59pm. Pool did not see POTUS exit his vehicle and is holding nearby

Travel pool report #7 — Iran question @ Jansen's

POTUS exited Jansen's market at 6:04pm with a bouquet of flowers and answered one question on Iran from Bloomberg's Jennifer Jacobs.

Q: Will Iran stand down?

A: "I hope so. I don't know"

As POTUS hopped in his SUV, another customer told him he was doing a great job as president.

The rain has started and motorcade is rolling as of 6:06pm

Motorcade arrived at the Biden home at 6:11pm.

Pool did not have eyes on POTUS entering… rain has turned into a downpour, and pool is holding nearby

Travel pool report #9 — POTUS briefed on incoming FL storm

Passing along from the WH

The President has been briefed on the incoming storm expected to impact Florida over the next few days. White House officials are in touch with Florida officials to monitor the storm. In preparation, FEMA has deployed an Incident Management Assistance Team and has pre-positioned additional resources, including water and meals.
