In-town pool report 1 - bad weather call

Good morning on a wet Boxing Day in Maryland.

The WH has made a bad weather call on the return of POTUS from Camp David this AM. Pool is en route in vans, and will motorcade back with POTUS.

In town pool 2 - motorcade is rolling

Pool joined with the POTUS motorcade at 11:31 AM after waiting outside the gate at Camp David.

POTUS is traveling in the SUV. Pool didn't see POTUS enter and couldn't see inside his vehicle.

Conditions are foggy and the ground is wet for the ride back to the White House. Motorcade is making its way down the mountain through quiet streets.

In town pool 3 - back at WH

Motorcade rolled onto WH grounds at 1:03 pm after an uneventful 90 minute drive. Pool caught a quick glimpse of POTUS exiting his SUV from a distance. Then pool saw flotus exiting from the opposite side wearing a long dress under a dark jacket.

In-town pool report 4: LID

The White House has called a travel-photo lid.
