POTUS remarks at the summit are scheduled for 3:45 p.m., per the White House.

Fact sheet linked below on new actions announced today by the White House to support tribal nations/native communities. POTUS is expected to announce he signed a proclamation establishing the Carlisle Federal Indian Boarding School National Monument in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. Carlisle is the site of the first federal off-reservation boarding school for Native children.

POTUS was introduced by Interior Secretary Deb Haaland, who called him the

"best president for Indian country in my lifetime."

Haaland and Assistant Secretary for Indian Affairs Bryan Newland presented POTUS with an eighth generation blanket from a tribally owned business embroidered with "Joe Biden Champion for Indian Country."
