Travel pool report #1 — Motorcade rolling from MAL

Good morning and happy Presidents' Day! Motorcade is rolling from Mar-a-Lago as of 9:22 a.m.

It's a cloudy, slightly dreary day here in Palm Beach, with a high of 74 degrees expected. Rain was not in the forecast, but we were hit with one brief rain shower just before 8 a.m.

Travel pool report #2 — Trump International Golf Club

POTUS motorcade turned into Trump International Golf Club in West Palm at 9:30 a.m. The president's supporters are gathered as usual across the street, and "YMCA" was playing on speakers.

Press peeled off and are holding nearby.

Travel pool report #3 — Departing the golf club

Pool rejoined the motorcade exiting Trump International Golf Club in West Palm at 3:13 p.m. and are once again underway. We dropped POTUS off at exactly 9:30 a.m., which means he was at the golf club for 5 hours and 43 minutes.

By the time we departed, quite a large group of the president's supporters, possibly around 100, had assembled directly across the street from the golf club in the library parking lot. They had with them, and flying from their cars, dozens of American and MAGA-themed flags.

Pool has unfortunately seen no glimpses of POTUS this Presidents' Day.

Travel pool report #4 — Back at MAL

POTUS motorcade arrived back at MAL at 3:20 p.m. Pool peeled off and is holding nearby.

Travel pool report #6 — Supplemental on Macron call

Obtained the following, attributable on background to a White House official:

"Today President Donald J. Trump and French President Emmanuel Macron had a friendly call. The leaders talked about the Ukraine War, the upcoming meeting of European nations tomorrow, and the talks in Saudi Arabia between U.S. and Russian officials. The call lasted approximately 30 minutes."
