Pool Report #2: call readout The White House passes along the following statement: Today, President Donald J. Trump spoke by telephone with U.S. Senator Rick Scott of Florida, Governor Wanda Vazquez Garced of Puerto Rico, and Resident Commissioner of Puerto Rico Jenniffer Gonzalez about Puerto Rico's response and recovery efforts to recent earthquakes. On January 8, President Trump approved a Presidential Emergency Declaration for Puerto Rico, and the Federal government has mobilized resources to assist the Commonwealth and local officials. President Trump will continue to monitor and receive updates, and appreciates the partnership with Governor Vazquez and her team. |
