In-town pool report 1: Lunch lid Good afternoon. The White House has called a lunch lid until 2:20 p.m. Our next scheduled activity for the day is the president's South Lawn departure for his afternoon rally, which will be covered by an out-of-town pool. |

In-town pool report 3: Departure /no questions President Biden left the White House at 2:58 pm, with Jill holding his arm. The two walked together straight to the helicopter without taking questions. (Some were yelled, doubt they were audible over the chopper engine noise). He was wearing a blue suit, no coat, and she was wearing a bright yellow ensemble with high black boots and a black wrap or shawl. Both gave the pool a slight wave. M1 was up at 3:03 pm. In-town pool report 4: arrival / no questions M1 touched down at 6:57 pm. The President and First Lady disembarked at 7 pm and walked back into the White House at 7:01, ignoring questions shouted over the loud helicopter other than a wave. |

Out-of-Town Pool Report #1 — checking in Greeting from a chilly day here in DC. The pool is traveling ahead of POTUS, FLOTUS, VP and Second Gentleman to Manassas, VA, where they all will attend a campaign rally. The pool van has started rolling toward Manassas ahead of event. |

Out of Town Pool Report #2 — Arrival at airport M1 touched down at 3:21 at Manassas airport. POTUS and FLOTUS departed M1 at 3:25. The pool was positioned too far away from POTUS and FLOTUS to shout questions. They both entered the limo at 3:26. The pool is now back in the van and we are rolling to the campaign event at 3:28. |

Out of Town Pool Report #3 — Travelers/Arrival at campaign event The motorcade arrived at the Hylton Performing Arts Center at 3:39. Your pooler did not see POTUS or FLOTUS leaving the limo or entering the building. It was an uneventful ride of about 10 minutes. We largely traveled through an industrial area. Several protesters chanted "Shame on You." And held signs that "Genocide Joe" in protest of his stance on Gaza. They also chanted "Hey Hey Ho Ho Genocide Joe." Two other protesters held signs "Protect the Unborn" and "End Aborton Now." Per White House, here's who is traveling with POTUS and FLOTUS. Out of Town Pool Report 6 -- POTUS Remarks Begin POTUS begins speaking at 4:51. He came out to thunderous applause from the crowd. They chanted, "Let's Go Joe!" as he took the stage. |

Out of Town Pool Report 7 -- Protesters As soon as POTUS begin his remarks, he was immediately interrupted by a protester. The protester, man, began shouting, "How many kids have you killed --" before he was shouted down by the crowd, which chanted "Four More Years." He was carrying a Palestinian flag. POTUS began his remarks again when another protester, this time a woman, began shouting at him "Israel kills two mothers every hour." Both protesters were escorted out of the crowd. They kept shouting, but both drowned out by four more years chants. |

Out of Town Pool Report 8 -- More Protesters Three more protesters began shouting, marking the fifth time POTUS has been interrupted in four minutes. He's barely gotten through the first lines of remarks. The two additional protesters, one a man and the other a woman, were escorted out. Your pooler could not see the last protester. They were escorted out by security. They were shouted down by the crowd chanting "Let's Go Joe" POTUS stood silently at the podium during all the interruptions. |

Out of Town Pool Report 9 -- POTUS responds to protesters Two other protesters interrupted POTUS at 4:59. He began speaking louder to drown out the protester. It was unclear what they were saying, but your pooler could hear that they were talking about Gaza and Palestinian though full sentences were hard to make out. "This is going to go on for a while. They've got this planned," POTUS said. |
