Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre will be joined by National Climate Advisor Ali Zaidi at today's press briefing.

The daily guidance has the briefing scheduled for 1 p.m. est.

In-Town Pool Report #1a: Kirby To Join Briefing

Quick point of clarification. WH says NSC Coordinator John Kirby is still set to join the 1 p.m. press briefing.

Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre will be joined by both Kirby and National Climate Advisor Ali Zadi.

In-town pool report #2: briefing delayed

The press briefing will now be at 1:15 p.m. est.

Per the White House:

President Biden spoke with Amir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani of Qatar to discuss the latest developments in Israel and Gaza, including efforts to secure the release of all hostages taken by Hamas. A readout of the call will be issued soon.

While there, the President will participate in two campaign receptions.

That evening, the President will return to the White House.

On Thursday, the President will attend the National Prayer Breakfast on Capitol Hill.
