Out of town pool report #1 - Delay Good morning from Los Angeles. Just to flag some scheduling changes for POTUS' trip to designate two new national monuments in remarks in Box Canyon, California. The White House says it is due to weather issues. In updated guidance issued early this morning, the departure from the RON was originally brought forward to 9.25am, but after loading the motorcade, pool was told there was a delay and pool is now holding at the RON as of 10.10am. Will update when we know more. |

Out of town pool report #2 - Weather halts travel From the White House: Due to weather issues, the President will not travel to Thermal, CA. The previously scheduled remarks will be delivered in Los Angeles, CA. Additional details to follow. Earlier, pool saw POTUS enter the Beast at the RON at 10.58am. Pool then saw POTUS exit the Beast about 10 minutes later and reenter RON. Pool now holding and awaiting further details. |

Out of town pool report #3 - POTUS monument event rescheduled From the White House: Today's event will be rescheduled for next week at the White House so that key stakeholders can attend. The White House has now called a lunch lid until 2pm. For information, we're currently seeing high winds in LA. |

Out of town pool report #5 - POTUS briefed on LA fires Passing on from the White House on the fires in LA, which are ongoing as the president is in the city: The President has been briefed on the wildfires in Los Angeles and at his direction his team is in contact with state and local officials to offer any federal assistance as needed. In response to the Governor's request, FEMA has just approved a Fire Management Assistance Grant to support the impacted community and help reimburse California for firefighting costs. Pool has not received any updates yet on any possible POTUS movements following the lifting of the lunch lid at 4pm |

Out of town pool report #7 - Fema briefing Passing on from the White House: The President was briefed by phone by Bob Fenton, FEMA Region 9 Administrator, regarding the Palisades wildfire. The President encourages residents in the affected areas to remain vigilant and heed the warnings of local officials-especially if ordered to evacuate. |
