Pool and credentialed media are gathering for the POTUS event set for 4:45.

In-town pool #4 — event begins.

The East Room is packed with a mixture of people in military and civilian attire and some children. Soft music played in the background before the event began.

hail to the chief played at 4:40 and POTUS walked in a straight line toward the podium as the event began with a prayer. It is open press and live-streamed.
