Hello, I'll be your in-town pooler for the day.

A lunch lid was called until 1:15 p.m. The White House also notes that Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack and National Security Communications Advisor John Kirby will join today's briefing, scheduled for 1:30.

In-town pool report #2: Biden met with Vilsack

The White House sends this along:

The President met with Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack to discuss implementation of the Inflation Reduction Act's Discrimination Financial Assistance Program. Today, the President announced his Administration is providing financial assistance to 43,000 farmers and ranchers who experienced discrimination and didn't have fair access to federal farm loan programs. President Biden promised to address this inequity when he became president, and today, that promise became a reality.
