WH travel pool report 4 — Marine 1 departure Marine 1, with President Biden aboard, will be lifting off the tarmac from the National Guard base in New Castle at approx 2015. The nine-minute drive from Wilmington was uneventful. Pool is now aboard an Osprey for the flight back to Andrews. The president will be flying directly to the South Lawn. Handing off to the in-town pool for the remainder of the day. It's been my pleasure providing all the important details from this weekend. |

In-town pool report #2 - Arrival/lid Marine One touched down on the South Lawn at 9:04 pm ET. POTUS stepped off at 9:06 pm ET and waited for FLOTUS before the two held hands and walked directly to the residence. POTUS, wearing a blue sport coat and turtleneck and khakis, did not respond to shouted questions. FLOTUS, wearing a khaki blazer and jeans, waved to the press before the couple entered the residence at 9:07pm ET. We have a lid at 9:12pm ET. Have a good night. |
