Out of Town Pool 1: Press pool on the move

Good morning from Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, where it is a pleasant 57 degrees.

Our call time was bumped up a bit, and the press pool loaded into the van and started moving at 9:36 a.m. Our eventual destination has not been shared with your pooler.

Out of Town Pool Report 2: Bike ride

President Biden and the First Lady went for a Sunday morning bike ride, rolling past the press pool assembled at Gordons Pond at Cape Henlopen State Park at 10:51 a.m. The First Lady was riding faster than the president, and greeted the press as she rode by.

President Biden, who was wearing an Airpod in his right ear, did not respond to a question about whether China was helping Russia.

Out of Town Pool Report 3: Circling back

The Bidens rode back past the pool at Gordons Pond at 11:35 a.m., completing a loop on the park's bike path. This time, the President was riding slightly ahead of the First Lady, who wished the press pool "Happy Spring." The President did not respond to a request from a reporter to stop and chat.

While the pool was waiting for the Bidens, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki tweeted that the President will not be visiting Ukraine when he is in Europe next week.

Out of Town Pool Report 4: Delaware Departure

President Biden and the First Lady arrived at Gordons Pond at 1:07 p.m. The President waived to the press as he boarded Marine One at 1:08 p.m., and the helicopter lifted off at 1:12 p.m.

Traveling with the Bidens, according to the White House:

• Cedric Richmond, Assistant to the President & Senior Advisor & Director of the Office of Public Engagement
• Ashley Williams, Special Assistant to the President & Deputy Director of Oval Office Operations

Marine One landed on the south lawn at 2:17 pm.

POTUS and FLOTUS walked out at 2:19 pm.

Biden didn't stop by to answer shouted questions on China, Judge Jackson and whether he was going to Poland.

WH called a lid at 2:28 pm.
