Supplemental Pool Report No. 1 - PHL

Hello from the Philadelphia International Airport where it's been spitting rain and is 45 degrees. I'll be taking over from the travel pool for President Biden's day of campaign travel in Atlanta, Georgia.

Biden's SUV pulled up to Air Force One at 11:54 a.m.

Dr. Biden got out first, she's wearing a forest green ensemble with matching heels. She waved to pool. POTUS then waved to pool but didn't walk over. They were boarded as of 11:55 a.m.

Spotted on the flight: MSNBC's Jonathan Capehart.

Wheels up shortly!

Supplemental Pool Report No. 2 - ATL arrival

Air Force One was wheels up at 12:07 p.m.

No visitors to the press cabin but a lot of bumps en route.

We were wheels down at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport at 1:52 p.m.

It's a much improved 66 degrees here in Atlanta, though still overcast.

Rep. Lucy McBath is sporting a bright orange pantsuit.

POTUS disembarked AF1 at 2:10, holding up both hands when seeing the lawmakers and mayor, followed by FLOTUS. He held his hand out to help her down the final step.

The first couple chatted with the greeters on the tarmac and got into the Beast at 2:11 p.m.

Motorcade was rolling to our first campaign event at 2:14 p.m.

One man with a beard was excitedly holding up a Biden-Harris flag as the motorcade was getting on the highway.

Supplemental Pool Report No. 8 - rally pre-show

Today’s rally site is indoors at Pullman Yards, an exposed brick warehouse with an industrial vibe.

President-elect Biden held an outdoor rally at the same site in December 2020 on behalf of now Democratic Sens. Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock.

A couple hundred attendees by your pooler's count.

Supporters were given white signs that said "I'm on board because ___" and were told to write in their answers.

There's a step and repeat set up where supporters can take photos with their "we're on board" signs.

DNC Chair Jaime Harrison is doing the rounds.

Warnock kicked off the rally at 4:59 p.m.

Among the successes the Georgia senator highlighted was how Biden erased some student debt "with one hand behind his back."

Ossoff came onstage at 5:07 p.m.

"Just remember that without Georgia there would be no Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson," he told the crowd.

Ossoff pointed out that the day after he was elected was January 6, calling out former President Donald Trump for being a danger.

As the pre-show continues the campaign sends this along with a full run-of-show.

I'll send another report once POTUS has started.

Supplemental Pool Report No. 9 - Biden starts speaking

POTUS, FLOTUS and Desera Lennon walked onstage at 5:31 p.m.

Biden started speaking at 5:42 p.m.

This event is open press, so I'll just be sending along color.

More from the pre-show:

Dr. Biden spoke first.

"And just by 12,000 votes you won. And we're going to win again," FLOTUS said.

She called attention to his SOTU and got huge cheers from the crowd. POTUS came up behind her and gave her shoulders a squeeze.

When she remarked that they've known each other for 50+ years an audience member shouted out "Who's counting!"

FLOTUS used the same lines against Trump as she did at yesterday's PA rally. Audience members seemed to know what she was going to say and shouted with her in unison.

Dr. Biden introduced Lennon at 5:39, noting that she'll be voting in her first election. She's a Clayton State University junior.

The pre-show also included remarks from the leaders of three groups who officially announced their endorsements of the Biden-Harris ticket today: AAPI Victory Fund, Latino Victory Fund and The Collective.

Supplemental Pool Report No. 10 - protester

Biden started his speech by hammering Trump.

"When he says he wants to be a dictator, I believe him."

He was almost instantly interrupted by a protester shouting "genocide Joe" who was quickly kicked out by security.

"Please free Palestine," the man shouted as he was shown the door.

Supplemental Pool Report No. 11 - rally concludes/rolling

Biden wrapped this speech 6:03 p.m.

Boisterous crowd. Had to pause the end of the speech for a "four more years" chant.

At the very end someone tossed him a green pin and he slowly bent down to pick it up and put it on his jacket. "Regulate guns not women," he said, and the pin said.

Motorcade was rolling to the airport as of 6:13 p.m.

Supplemental Pool Report No. 12 - ATL departure

Motorcade back to ATL was uneventful.

The Beast pulled up to AF1 at 6:37 p.m.

POTUS walked off the Beast at 6:38 and walked over to a line of troopers standing near the plane followed by Dr. Biden. They shook hands with the officers as they walked down the line and then posed for a group picture.

POTUS waved at the pool but didn't come over, boarding AF1 at 6:40 p.m.

Wheels up to PHL shortly.

Supplemental Pool Report No. 13 - PHL return

Air Force One was wheels up at 6:49 p.m.

We landed back at Philadelphia International Airport at 8 p.m.

Anita Dunn and the Biden-Harris campaign's Michael Tyler came back to say hi, but didn’t gaggle. They didn’t stay in the press cabin long due to turbulence.

It is pouring. The Bidens walked off AF1 at 8:15 p.m. Dr. Biden appears to be wearing ankle-boot Uggs, the President followed in a baseball cap with an aide trying to follow them with an umbrella. They were in the Beast at 8:15 p.m. Motorcade was rolling at 8:17 p.m.

Handing it back to the out of town pool for the drive back to Delaware. Have a great weekend!
