WH supplemental pool 1 - activation

There was a good weather call, meaning the supplemental pool has been activated and I will be pooling today's trip to Philadelphia.

WH supplemental pool 2 - Biden arrives

The president arrived at Dover AFB via Marine One and boarded Air Force One. We are taking off shortly for Philadelphia.

WH supplemental pool report 4 - arrival

Air Force One touched down at Philadelphia International Airport at 9:42 am.

When the president boarded AF1 at Dover, he was asked about progress in budget negotiations. He said something at the bottom of the stairs that none of us could hear, but it was clear there was no news.

President Biden came down the stairs from AF1. He said, "No" to shouted question about whether there was any progress in the budget talks.

We have arrived at our destination

From the White House:

The President and First Lady are attending their granddaughter Maisy Biden’s graduation ceremony at the University of Pennsylvania.

Also graduating at this ceremony is my niece, Erin Tack, with a doctorate in veterinary medicine

We have left Franklin Field and returned to the vans for the trip back to the airport.

President and Mrs. Biden sat in the bleachers to the right of the ceremony, acting like all of the other proud parents and grandparents. He was not acknowledged at all by the speakers while we were at the graduation.

The president and first lady are having a post-graduation family lunch in Philadelphia.

WH supplemental pool report 10 - Biden comment

Leaving the restaurant, Biden responded to a shouted question and confirmed he would meet with Speaker McCarthy tomorrow.

We are moving again, heading to the airport. Pooler has asked for a list of family members at the luncheon and will pass them along if we get it.

The president boarded Air Force One for the trip to Joint Base Andrews. He did not stop to talk to reporters.

President Biden lifted off aboard Marine One about 2:15 en route to the White House. He did not stop to answer questions after departing from Air Force One.

Out of Town Pool Report #1 - Leaving Rehoboth

POTUS arrived at Gordons Pond State Park at 8:44 AM via motorcade. He boarded Marine One with FLOTUS, who was wearing an purple pantsuit, and his daughter Ashley Biden. He did not stop to talk to pool.

At 8:49 AM they were wheels up. Handing off to the supplemental pool. Have a great Monday.

POTUS stepped out a minute later with FLOTUS

They walked hand in hand across the grass. They both waved to gathered press but ignored a shouted invitation to come talk and walked to the residence.
