WH travel pool 1 -- Call time now 1500

Good morning from sunny and humid Wilmington, where the little weather bug on the computer task bar warns of "very high pollen" and where call time has been pushed from 1200 to 1500.

WH travel pool 2 - call time now 1845

Call time now 1845 instead of 1500.

WH travel pool 3 — 1835 call time

As per the subject line. Call time moved up 10 minutes.

WH travel pool 4 — motorcade

The pool van once again joined onto the tail end of the presidential motorcade near the Biden residence at 1943.

The pro-Palestinian protest area on the route again had about 15-20 participants. It sounded like they had a bullhorn.

We are headed for the Delaware Air National Guard base in New Castle, about 6 miles away.

Motorcade has stopped in the parking lot of Alexis DuPont High school at 1950.

Unclear why.

WH travel pool 6 - POTUS visiting Hallie Biden

The president is at the home of Hallie Biden, the widow of his late son, Beau, per the White House press office.

Pool is holding in the press van.

WH travel pool 7 - motorcade underway again

The president's motorcade is rolling again at 2006.

WH travel pool 8 - POTUS en route DC

The motorcade arrived at the Delaware Air National Guard base at 2016 without incident or any further stops.

The president stepped out of his SUV wearing a blue suit and boarded his waiting helicopter and at 2024, Marine 1 is rolling toward the runway for liftoff, bound for Fort McNair.

Pool is gathering now to depart for Fort McNair where we are meeting President Biden.

In-town pool report #2: M1 touchdown

Marine One touched down at Fort McNair at 9:17

President Biden walked across the field and out of shouting distance of the pool before entering the Beast.

The motorcade began rolling from Fort McNair at 9:23. We are heading to the White House.

In-town pool report #3: WH arrival

The motorcade arrived at the White House South Lawn at 9:33 after an uneventful ride.

Your pooler did not lay eyes on the president as he exited the motorcade.

A lid was called at 9:41 pm.
