WH Out-of-Town Pool Report 1 - call time moved up

Good morning from an again slightly chilly Rehoboth Beach. We've been pushed up to 11:15am ET to gather. Will share any more updates as we have more.

WH Out-of-Town Pool Report 2

Good morning. Our press pool van loaded up shortly before 11:15 a.m. Our eventual destination has not been shared with your pooler.

WH Out-Of-Town Pool Report 3

At 1:05pm, your pool gathered on the beach near Gordons Pond to prepare for POTUS to take a walk on the beach.

The skies were cloudy and the water was choppy from wind.

Biden could be seen at 1:10pm walking towards the water, based on views by photographers who had telephoto lenses.

At 1:14pm, Biden could be seen by your pooler walking along the water, with Jill positioned slightly closer to the waves lapping against the shore.

Biden wore a dark baseball cap emblazoned with the number "46" and his aviators and jeans. He is wearing On brand running sneakers.

Jill is wearing jeans and carrying something that looks like a shell that she picked up from the beach. An inspection of a photograph of the shell by your poolers appears to include the letters "Kamala."

He stopped to look at something — possibly his phone - and then caught up with Jill.

At 1:15pm, Biden waved when reporters gestured to him and asked him to come over and talk.

He ignored a battery of subsequent questions. It was not clear if he could hear, as he was near the water and the sound of the waves crashing into the shore is muffling some sound. He kept walking along the water with Jill until eventually your pooler could not longer see him.

Your pool has moved along the beach in the direction of Biden's walk. At 1:39pm, Biden could be seen walking back, based on another view by a photographer.

At 1:44pm, Biden and Jill have now come back into view or your pool. He is now walking into the wind and could be seen by a photographer taking to an agent and with his back to the wind.

At 1:45pm, he just zagged away from the water, which is getting a little close to his path.

At 1:47pm, Biden is walking inland from the shoreline along with Jill. Biden in a few instances struggled with his footing as he walked toward the pathway leading off the beach. In one instance, Jill reached out to grab his arm. The sand at this part of the beach is not packed down into an even surface.

At about 1:49pm, Biden ignored shouted questions and momentarily stumbled along the sand again. He shouted one inaudible word but it was unclear who it was directed at. He did not approach the press pool. He ended his walk before reaching the residence, exiting into the Gordons Pond parking lot.

WH Out-Of-Town Pool Report 4

President Biden's motorcade rolled in at 4:07pm to Gordons Pond, where the helicopter engines are drowning out conversations.

Jill, followed by Biden, boarded Marine One at 4:09 p.m. and the helicopter lifted off at 4:13pm in cloudy skies at 63 degrees Fahrenheit.

No questions were shouted due to the distance of the pool and the sound of helicopters.

in-town pool report #1 — POTUS lands at McNair/no questions

Marine One landed at Fort McNair at 5:05 p.m. President Biden and First Lady Jill Biden stepped off at 5:08 p.m.

He did not stop to answer a shouted question about whether he thinks President-elect Trump is interfering with his foreign policy, going straight to his vehicle, The Beast. We are rolling for the White House at 5:10 p.m.

President Biden's motorcade arrived at the White House at 5:19 p.m. The ride was uneventful as on-lookers on sidewalks watched us zoom past. We did not see POTUS enter the White House. His car was parked outside the Residence entrance.
