Pool Reports of November 18, 2023

Travel Pool Report # 1 – Call time 1pm

Good morning from sunny Wilmington. The call time has been pushed back to 1pm.

Travel Pool Report #2 – call time moved up

Call time was moved up and pool is gathering now.

Travel Pool Report #3 – Lunch

POTUS rolled by and pool joined the motorcade at 1:22pm.

It was an uneventful ride. One person smiled and waved from her car as the motorcade passed.

The motorcade arrived at Fieldstone Golf Club at 1:30 and pool left the motorcade. Pool did not lay eyes on the president.

POTUS is having lunch there.

Travel Pool Report #4 – Stop at Jos. A. Bank

Pool rejoined POTUS' motorcade as it was leaving Fieldstone Golf Club at 2:57 pm. Pool saw POTUS' SUV, but did not see POTUS.

After another short, uneventful ride, the motorcade pulled up to Jos. A. Bank at 3:03 and the President walked inside, wearing a light blue sweater and dark blue pants.

At one point, around 3:18, pool could see POTUS inside the store near a window looking at clothing.

Five people entered the store after being wanded by Secret Service.

POTUS emerged at 3:23, wearing sunglasses. A reporter shouted, "Mr. President, what did you buy?" POTUS looked towards the pool and gestured and appeared to say something, but pool was too far away to hear if he did. The president did not look to be carrying anything.

Motorcade is rolling at 3:25.

Travel Pool Report #5 – POTUS' House

Pool split off from the motorcade near POTUS' house at 3:27 pm.

Travel Pool Report #6 – Church arrival

Stationed near his house, pool saw the president's SUV pass at 4:56 pm and folded into the motorcade.

The motorcade arrived at POTUS' usual church, St. Joseph on the Brandywine, at 4:58 and POTUS walked inside at 5:00 wearing what looked like a black jacket.

Travel Pool Report #7 – Departing Church and Lid

The president walked out of St. Joseph on the Brandywine around 5:54 pm with a number of people, but the pool was too far away to see him clearly in the group.

At 5:56 POTUS, walking arm in arm with his sister, Valerie Biden Owens, went around the side of the church toward the back.

Pool did not see him enter the motorcade. Pool joined the motorcade at 6:03.

The motorcade dropped POTUS off at his home at 6:08 and the White House called a lid.
