Out of Town Pool Report #1 - Departing Residence

Good afternoon from Rehoboth Beach, where we have bright sunshine and temperatures of 64 degrees.

President Biden's motorcade departed his vacation home at 3:50 p.m. ET. We are now rolling.

Out of Town Pool Report #2 - Church

President Biden’s motorcade arrived at St. Edmond Roman Catholic Church in Rehoboth Beach at 3:57 p.m. after an uneventful 7-minute drive.

The pool did not see the president when he walked into the church for Mass. We are now holding outside the church.

Out of Town Pool Report #3 - Israel/Gaza Briefing

The White House passes this along:

The President was briefed this afternoon on the latest developments in Israel and Gaza by Secretary of State Antony Blinken, NSA Jake Sullivan, and senior advisors.

Out of Town Pool Report #4 - Departing Church

President Biden emerged from St. Edmond Roman Catholic Church at 5:05 p.m. following Mass.

Biden, wearing a blue blazer, was asked if there was any progress on getting a humanitarian pause in Gaza.

Biden said, "Yes," and offered a thumbs up.

At 5:07 p.m the motorcade was rolling from the church.

Out of Town Pool Report #5 - Lid

President Biden’s motorcade arrived in the neighborhood of his Rehoboth Beach vacation home at 5:13 p.m. after a short drive from the church.

The pool bus broke off the motorcade and a lid has been declared.
