In-town pool report #2: Jean-Pierre & Kirby briefing is starting Press briefing with Karine Jean-Pierre and NSC Coordinator for Strategic Communications John Kirby started at 2:02 PM. They did not provide an official 2 minute warning. Briefing is livestreamed on the White House website. |

In-town pool report #3: Jean-Pierre, Kirby press briefing ends Press briefing ended at 3:07 PM. White House press office sent a 2-minute notice email to the pool before the briefing started, but it did not arrive in pooler's email until after the briefing started and pool report #2 was sent. Pooler did not hear the 2-minute warning announcement before the briefing, but others said they heard it. |

In-town pool report #4: President leaves for "The Showroom" Presidential motorcade left the White House at 4:51. Biden is going to "The Showroom" to tour demonstrations at "American Possibilities: A White House Demo." Pool did not see him enter his vehicle. |

He is examining a window that says "gradient" on it, and speaking with exhibitors out of the pool's earshot. Another exhibit shows underwater sea creatures. Another is on heat pumps and another is on prosthetic arms. |

In-town pool report #7 President Biden engaged in a long discussion with a National Marine Sanctuaries exhibitor in front of a TV screen that showed underwater sea creatures. Pool was ushered out of the room at 5:14 pm. Pool sent out 2 reports that were numbered 5. The second one should have been 6. |

In-house pool report #8: Biden answer to Netanyahu question Biden answered a question from the radio pooler while he was at the event. She was told that Biden asked Netanyahu for a pause during their phone call on Monday. Biden did not say what the response was from Netanyahu. We are still holding in a van outside The Showroom. |

BACKGROUND ON DEMOS Prosthetic arm innovations – He will meet with an individual who is able to control his prosthetic arm with his thoughts through the power of neurotechnology. This technology started at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) under the Obama-Biden Administration's Brain Initiative. In December 2021, the President signed the ACT for ALS, patient community-driven legislation that invests in future treatments and cures and provides access to therapies for people living with ALS.
