WH Pool report #1: NEWS -- WH is postponing POTUS trip to Colorado

From a WH official:
"The President's trip to Colorado is postponed and it will be rescheduled. The President will remain at the White House to participate in national security meetings."

"This morning, President Biden and Vice President Harris were briefed by their national security team on the latest updates in the wake of Hamas's abhorrent attack in Israel and the resulting conflict in Gaza. Chief of Staff Jeff Zients joined the briefing led by National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines, and Director of the Central Intelligence Agency Bill Burns."

WH Pool report #5: POTUS calls with counterparts in Germany and Egypt

From a WH official:
"This afternoon, President Biden held a call with Chancellor Olaf Scholz of Germany in advance of Chancellor Scholz's travel to Egypt and Israel. President Biden held a separate call with President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi of Egypt. Readouts of both calls will follow."
