The White House moved up the call time for the pool to 1 p.m. Pool is scheduled to gather for President Biden's arrival from Camp David at 1:15.

Last night, President Biden spoke with Georgia Governor Brian Kemp and McIntosh County Chair Kate Pontello Karwacki regarding the tragic ferry dock walkway collapse on Georgia's Sapelo Island. The President expressed his deepest sympathies and made clear that his team stands ready to provide any and all assistance that would be helpful to the community.

The pool was called to gather at the Palm Room Doors at 1:30 p.m. for the president's arrival from Camp David.

10/20 In-Town Pool Report 4 - no questions

Marine One was wheels down on the South Lawn at 1:53 p.m.

President Biden stepped off the helicopter at 1:55 p.m. He walked from the helicopter to the Oval Office without taking any questions from gathered reporters.

He entered the Oval Office at 1:57 p.m.

White House called a lunch/dinner lid until 6:15 p.m.

The pool is gathering as of 6:53 p.m. at the Palm Room Doors. The pool is gathering to cover a dinner celebrating expanded White House public tours.

The president and the first lady are scheduled to give remarks while the pool is in the room. Your pooler is not expecting the remarks to be livestreamed on the White House's website. Pooler will send notes and newsworthy quotes from POTUS.

10/20 In-Town Pool Report 7 - travel/photo lid

The Bidens walked out of the Blue Room at 7:09 p.m. The president was wearing a suit and tie. Dr. Biden wore a white cocktail dress and dangle earrings.

They took a right and walked into the East Room while Hail to the Chief played. They did not say anything to gathered press.

The president and Dr. Biden walked to a lectern with a gold eagle on it.

Guests were seated at round and rectangle tables with candle sticks. The plates on the tables had a gold trim. The tablecloths were cream and orange.

Pooler spotted adviser Mike Donilon and Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines seated at different tables.

Dr. Biden spoke first for a few minutes and then introduced the president.

The president opened with this joke: Hi, Joe Biden. I'm Jill Biden's husband.

He later pointed to Ashley Biden and asked her to stand.

He said it was no surprise to him that Dr. Biden worked on making the White House an inspirational educational opportunity for everyone.

In America, we don't erase history. We celebrate it, he said.

An usher then handed him and Dr. Biden two glasses. Both raised their glasses to toast. The president appeared to take a sip from his glass and then handed it to an usher.

The pool left the East Room shortly after.
