Good afternoon. The pool linked up with POTUS's motorcade at approximately 3:55 p.m.

This is POTUS's first public movement today. I’ll update with the location upon arrival.

The motorcade arrived at St. Edmond Catholic Church at 4:01 p.m. The pool did not see POTUS enter the building.

Secret Service is wanding parishioners before they walk inside.

The pool is holding outside on this windy afternoon.

The White House passes this along:

President Biden was briefed this afternoon by his national security team via phone on the latest developments in Israel and Gaza. Participants in the briefing include Chief of Staff Jeff Zients, Secretary of State Tony Blinken, National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan and Principal Deputy National Security Adviser Jon Finer.

POTUS exited St. Edmond Catholic Church at 4:53 p.m. He responded to one shouted question from the pool.

Q: "Are you encouraging the Israelis to delay invasion?"

POTUS answer: "I'm talking to the Israelis."

Q: "Do you have any word on any additional hostage releases, sir?"

[No answer]

Motorcade is rolling.

The motorcade drove near POTUS's home, but the pool did not see POTUS enter.

The White House called a lid at 5:05 p.m.
