Travel Pool Report No. 1 - JBA Hi there - I'm your print pooler for President Joe Biden's overnight trip to Arizona. It's a beautiful fall day at JBA, sunny with a breeze and 67 degrees. Marine One landed at 4:04 p.m. The president disembarked at 4:08 p.m. He's sporting his aviators and walked and talked with the greeter. They slowed and chatted halfway to the plane. He waved at pool. He was on board at 4:09 p.m. A pooler attempted a start of a question but he was already up the short stairs. We'll be wheels up shortly. From the WH: Greeting the President on arrival to Joint Base Andrews: Colonel Angela Ochoa, 89th Air Wing Commander Traveling with the President aboard Air Force One en route to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport: Secretary Deb Haaland, Department of the Interior |

Travel Pool Report No. 3 - greetings and campaign call President Biden disembarked Air Force One at 5:23 p.m. and greeted the first group of greeters. He was followed off the plane by Sec. Haaland and other individuals, some of whom are in traditional Native American dress. He then walked over to a longer line of greeters, giving a hug and a pet on the cheek to a young girl, who appeared to be Lt. Gov. Flanagan's daughter. Biden mingled on the tarmac with his guests and then posed for a group photo. The president was applauded. He gave the youngster another side hug. Biden boarded his black SUV at 5:29 p.m. We're rolling as of 5:32 p.m. There's info about a campaign call Biden made below too - From the White House: Greeting the President on arrival to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport: Secretary Deb Haaland, Department of the Interior On behalf of the Harris-Walz campaign: This afternoon, President Biden addressed the Pennsylvania local and statewide leadership of the Wisconsin Building Trades Council/AFL-CIO to thank them for their continued efforts to mobilize workers in support of the Harris-Walz campaign and Democratic candidates.
