Checking in as your pooler this Thursday. Pool call time is 10am.

The current schedule doesn't have the President at any public events. A press briefing is scheduled for 1pm and will include NEC Director Lael Brainard and NSC spokesperson John Kirby.

Brainard took questions for about 6 minutes and Kirby then took questions for about 29 minutes. Karine took the podium and answered questions for another 28 minutes.

The President met with Speaker Johnson and Leader Jeffries at the White House ahead a briefing on the need for his national security supplemental request.

In-town pool report #10: Biden dropped by swearing in and AANHPI commission

From the press office:

This evening, the President dropped by the swearing-in ceremony of the Presidential Advisory Commission on Advancing Educational Equity, Excellence, and Economic Opportunity for Black Americans and he dropped by the President’s Advisory Commission on Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islanders (AA and NHPI).

At the Presidential Advisory Commission for Black Americans drop-by, the President expressed his Administration’s commitment to racial justice, educational equity, and economic opportunity for all Black Americans.

At the AA and NHPI Commission drop-by, the President expressed his Administration’s support for the AA and NHPI community, commitment to inclusivity and justice, and continuation of established bipartisan efforts to support the community.

The President thanked all Commission members for their service to the nation.
