On Saturday, September 29, 2018, the President signed into law:
H.R. 6897, the "Airport and Airway Extension Act of 2018, Part, II," which extends authorization for Federal Aviation Administration programs and related revenue authorities through October 7, 2018; and
S. 3479, the "Department of Veterans Affairs Expiring Authorities Act of 2018," which extends certain expiring authorities affecting veterans and their families, including: (1) health care; (2) benefits; (3) homelessness; and (4) other authorities. It also makes a number of amendments to various authorities related to health care and other matters.
