President George W. Bush today announced his intention to nominate one individual to serve in his Administration: The President intends to nominate Kent R. Hill, of Virginia, to be an Assistant Administrator (Global Health) at the United States Agency for International Development. Mr. Hill currently serves as Assistant Administrator for the Bureau for Europe and Eurasia and as Acting Assistant Administrator (Global Health) at the United States Agency for International Development. He previously served as President of Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy, Massachusetts. Prior to this position, Mr. Hill served as President of the Institute on Religion and Democracy in Washington, DC. Having served in the U.S. Army, he earned his bachelor's degree from Northwest Nazarene College and his master's degree and Ph.D. from the University of Washington.
