President George W. Bush today announced his intention to appoint eight individuals to serve in his administration:
The President intends to appoint Brian Griffin of Oklahoma, to be Representative of the United States to the Southern States Energy Board. Mr. Griffin is currently a private practice attorney. Earlier in his career, he served as the Secretary of Environment for the State of Oklahoma. He received a B.A. from Harvard University, an M.A. in Jurisprudence (Rhodes Scholar) from Oxford University and a J.D. from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. He received a LL.M. in taxation from the Southern Methodist University.
The President intends to appoint the following individuals to be Members of the National Infrastructure Advisory Council: Robert L. Ehrlich, Jr. of Maryland Martha H. Marsh of California
The President intends to appoint the following individuals to be Members of the President's Council on Service and Civic Participation: Emily Z. Baldridge of Texas Amber Coffman of Maryland Michelle Nunn of Georgia Rebecca W. Rimel of Pennsylvania Juliann Thomas of Texas
