President George W. Bush today announced that he has named three individuals to serve in his Administration.
The President has named Cynthia Bergman, of Washington, to be Special Assistant to the President for Communications. Ms. Bergman previously served as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. She received her bachelor's degree from Washington State University and her master's degree from the University of Toledo.
The President has named Ann Thomas G. Johnston, of Virginia, to be Special Assistant to the President for Legislative Affairs. Ms. Johnston previously served as Senior Vice President of Capitol Hill Consulting Group. She received her bachelor's degree from Wake Forest University.
The President has named Jason Recher, of New Hampshire, to be Special Assistant to the President and Trip Director. Mr. Recher previously served as a Trip Director in the Office of Presidential Advance. He received his bachelor's degree from the George Washington University.
