Press Release - President Bush to Nominate Freeman to be Ambassador of the United States to Belize

President George W. Bush today announced his intention to nominate Russell F. Freeman to be Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to Belize.

"Russ is a leader in the Fargo community and is experienced in economic development, an important issue to Belize. He will make an excellent representative of the United States," said President Bush.

Freeman is an attorney with Niles, Hansen and Davies in Fargo, North Dakota, and works extensively with the Fargo Cass County Economic Development Corporation. He is the former President of the Fargo School Board as well as a Director of the Children's Village Family Services Foundation. He served as a judge advocate in the United States Army and is a graduate of Grinnell College in Iowa and Northwestern University Law School.
