Press Release - President Donald J. Trump Announces Intent to Nominate Individuals to Key Administration Posts

President Donald J. Trump today announced his intent to nominate the following individual to a key position in his Administration:

William I. Althen of Virginia, to be a Member of the Federal Mine Safety and Health Review Commission for the remainder of a six-year term expiring August 30, 2024.

Commissioner Althen was appointed to serve as Commissioner of the Federal Mine Safety and Health Review Commission from May 2013 to August 2018. From January 2017 to August 2018, Commissioner Althen was Acting Chairman of the Federal Mine Safety and Health Review Commission.

President Donald J. Trump today announced his intent to nominate the following individuals to be Members of the Board of Directors of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting for the remainder of six-year terms expiring January 31, 2022.
