Press Release - President Donald J. Trump Announces Intent to Nominate Personnel to Key Administration Posts

President Donald J. Trump today announced his intent to nominate the following key additions to his Administration:

Scott Garrett of New Jersey to be President of the Export-Import Bank for a term of four years expiring January 20, 2021. Mr. Garrett served in the United States House of Representatives from 2003 to 2015. Prior to serving in the House, Mr. Garrett was a New Jersey State Representative from 1992 to 2003. He holds Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Montclair University and a Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School.

Spencer T. Bachus III of Alabama, to be a Member of the Board of Directors of the Export-Import Bank for a term of four years expiring January 20, 2019. Mr. Bachus is a Member of Bachus and Broom, LLC. He served in the United States House of Representatives from 1993 to 2015. Mr. Bachus holds a Bachelor of Arts from Auburn University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Alabama School of Law.
