President Obama spoke today by phone with Prime Minister Matteo Renzi of Italy to discuss the close cooperation between the United States and Italy in defeating ISIL. The two leaders agreed to continue to work closely together to manage the flow of migrants into Europe. They also discussed the economic situation in Europe and the need to promote growth.
