The Vice President reiterated the United States' long-standing commitment to its close partnership with Colombia, and discussed key issues including the ongoing peace process. The two leaders discussed at great length the dire humanitarian crisis and authoritarian conditions in Venezuela, and committed to continue to press for the restoration of democracy there.
