Vice President Biden met at the White House today with the UAE's Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The Vice President underscored the continued strength of our friendship with the UAE, and thanked the Crown Prince for the UAE's contributions to security and prosperity in the Middle East. The Crown Prince expressed his gratitude for the Obama Administration's steadfast leadership in the region. The two leaders discussed a broad range of regional issues of mutual interest, and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening economic and defense ties between their two countries.
