SGOTUS pool report #2 — expo color SGOTUS arrived at the Indian Treaty Room at 10:41am for the exhibition portion of the event. Four displays, representing four commitment makers from today's announcement, were arranged around the perimeter of the room. SGOTUS and Andres were joined by Neera Tanden, Stephen Benjamin, Sec. Vilsack, and Rep. McGovern for the expo. At the first station, Dion's Chicago Dream, Emhoff asked where the food was sourced from, and was given a lengthy explanation. The second station was helmed by the International Dairy Foods Association and AgriMark and they discussed reducing added sugars in school lunch milks. The station served reduced sugar chocolate milk to the group, which Tanden called "delicious." The third station was operated by Epic, a Wisconsin software developer focused on "food screening" for patients, and staffers demo'd their app. Pool was ushered out while the 4th display, put on by the California Office of First Partner & California Department of Food and Agriculture, was ongoing to get into position for remarks. |
