I transmit herewith a report* from the Secretary of State, in answer to the resolution of the House of Representatives of the 24th instant.

*Stating that the Department of State has received no information concerning the removal of the Protestant Church or religious assembly meeting at the American embassy from the city of Rome by an order of that Government.
