STATEMENT OF ADMINISTRATION POLICY

The Administration supports House passage of H.R. 4411. This important legislation is intended to enhance the ability of law enforcement and financial institutions to identify and prevent illegal Internet gambling and will update the existing prohibitions against interstate gambling. The Administration has some concerns with the bill and looks forward to working with Congress to strengthen and improve this legislation.
