President Bush will meet with Portuguese Prime Minister Jose Manuel Durao Barosso on September 10, 2002. Portugal is one of America's closest Allies and has strongly supported the United States in the war against terrorism. This visit is part of President Bush's ongoing consultations with European leaders in his effort to build a strong international coalition to deal with the challenges of terrorism and weapons of mass destruction.
