President Bush will welcome Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder to Washington for a working visit on March 29. The United States and Germany share a broad agenda of common interests and values in Europe and beyond, and the President looks forward to reviewing ways in which we can intensify cooperation in pursuit of common goals. At their meeting and luncheon on that day, the President expects to address a wide range of issues that are central to this strong, warm relationship.
