Statement by the Press Secretary: President Names Tony Fratto as Deputy Press Secretary
President George W. Bush announced today that he has named one individual to serve in his Administration:
The President has named Tony Fratto to be Deputy Assistant to the President and Deputy Press Secretary. Mr. Fratto recently served as Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs at the Department of Treasury. Prior to this, he served as Vice President of Government Affairs for the Pittsburgh Regional Alliance. Earlier in his career, he served as Communications Director for Senator Rick Santorum. Mr. Fratto received his bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Pittsburgh.
