Statement by the Press Secretary to Vice President Pence

Vice President Pence was briefed by NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine this morning on the Boeing Starliner Orbital Flight Test from Kennedy Space Center. After a successful launch, an off nominal insertion occurred. The Vice President will continue to receive updates as NASA and Boeing monitor the mission. Vice President Pence was assured that NASA will continue to test and improve, in order to return American astronauts to space on American rockets in 2020.
