Vice Presidential Pool Reports of August 19, 2024

VP Pool #1 rolling

Motorcade began rolling from VP's RON to the United center at 6:44 pm.

VP Pool #2 United center arrival

Motorcade arrived at 6:56 pm.

VP Pool #3 holding inside

Pool is seated inside the convention center. We haven't seen VPOTUS yet. We are told we are seated above her box, so will have eyes on her via the Jumbotron.

VP Pool #5 VP on stage

Harris took the stage at 8:10 pm to loud cheers.

"This is going to be a great week," she said before thanking Biden for his "historic leadership."

She exited the stage at 8:12 pm.

VP Pool #6 VP in the box

We are told VP is in the box, as you can probably see on TV. Behind the Alabama delegation.

Pool was moved around 9:45 pm to the floor area. But we still can't see Harris.

VP Pool #7 pool moved to the stage area

Pool got moved right next to the stage in the buffer area around 11:04 pm.

No confirmation on whether Harris will be on stage again.

VP Pool #8 VP on stage again

Harris and Emhoff walked on stage at 11:19 pm after Biden wrapped up. Harris and Biden hugged. Biden's family followed. Harris spent some time talking to Ashley Biden and bent down to talk to Beau Biden.

They all waved and held hands. Pool exited at 11:22 pm.

Motorcade arrived at the VP's RON at 12:01 am.
