VP pool report #1 — rolling

Motorcade departed RON at 4:59pm CT and is rolling for the Soldier Field landing zone.

Pool did not put eyes on VP. Nor did the multiple groups of onlookers waiting outside the hotel's security perimeter who still cheered as the motorcade departed.

VP pool report #2 — Soldier Field LZ/greeters

Motorcade arrived at the lz at 5:10pm.

VP, wearing a royal blue suit, boarded an OSPREY at 5:12pm without answering questions. Print pooler and still photographer boarded same osprey

Ospreys touched down at ORD at 5:27pm.

During the short flight, VP, wearing a comms headset reviewed what appeared to be a copy of her speech this evening and joked around by taking a few photos using a WH staffer's camera, laughing throughout.

Pool disembarked the Ospreys ahead of VP and moved under wing of AF2

VP disembarked at 5:32pm, walked over to the plane and shared an embrace with Rep. Gwen Moore before boarding

VP pool report #7 — AF2 wheels up

VP gaggled with press off the record for just under 7 minutes before we departed. AF2 was wheels up at 5:52pm, next stop Milwaukee

VP pool report #8 — wheels down/greeters

AF2 touched down at Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport at 6:08pm.

Pool is in position for VP's exit… and Gov. Walz just walked UP the steps of AF2

VP Pool report #9 — rolling

VP and Walz disembarked together at 6:26pm and hopped in separate SUVs after visiting with tarmac greeters. Rep. Moore disembarked shortly after Harris and Walz.

Motorcade is rolling as of 6:31pm, ahead of what WH advises is a 15-min drive.

Motorcade arrived at Fiserv Forum at 6:46pm and is moving into position for VP's remarks

VP pool report #13 — Gaza protester ejected

A Gaza protester holding up a banner reading "genocide" was ejected from the rally at 8:16pm, but you could barely even tell because he was drowned out by the crowd. No acknowledgement from VP

Harris paused her remarks at 8:28pm to make sure a person in the front row of the crowd received medical assistance…

"Ok, we're gonna be ok" Harris added with a thumbs up before resuming

Harris wrapped at 8:32pm but stayed on stage while pool was ushered out of the arena

Motorcade is rolling back to the airport as of 8:40pm. Pool did not put eyes on VP

Motorcade arrived back at the airport at 8:54pm

VP pool report #18 — wheels up shortly

VP exited her SUV and boarded AF2 at 8:57pm without taking questions. We'll be wheels up for Chicago shortly

VP pool report #19 — wheels down

AF2 landed at ORD at 943pm. The plane had arrived in Chicago airspace sooner than that, but we circled for around 10 minutes so that VP could finish watch Doug Emhoff's DNC speech. The front cabin erupted into cheers of "DOUG! DOUG! DOUG!" And applause when he concluded

VP disembarked AF2 at 9:56pm, waved to pool and immediately walked to her Osprey without taking questions. She was still walking toward the bird while pool was moved to our own Osprey. No press riding with VP for this trip… next stop Soldier Field

Ospreys touched down at Soldier Field LZ at 10:09pm.

VP watched First Lady Michelle Obama and former President Barack Obama's speeches on the ride over, per WH. It is unclear if VP plans to finish President Obama's speech before getting into the motorcade

VP disembarked at 10:16pm and hopped in her SUV without fielding questions. Motorcade is rolling for RON as of 10:18pm

VP pool report #23 — RON arrival

Motorcade arrived at VP's hotel at 10:30pm.

Pool did not have eyes on VP's entrance to the hotel.
