Good Evening,

This is Eric Garcia. I will be your pooler for the evening as the Vice President attends a fundraiser in the suburban area of Washington DC. I will be sending pool reports throughout the fundraiser as the Vice president prepares to give remarks. Thank you.

Vice President Kamala Harris is attending a Biden Victory Fund event hosted by Julius Genachowski.

VPOTUS takes the stage and talks about her parents fighting for civil rights when she was in a stroller.

"You are the reason I do what I do," she says to the children. Jokes that she thanks them for bringing their adults. She receives a huge applause when she says "We're going to win."

She says "We are winning."

"We are winning as an administration."

"The biggest infrastructure bill infrastructure bill in generations. It will rival what Eisenhower did"

She talks about "clean air to drink."

"Think about how we are winning as an administration."

Makes a joke about how many Americans learned about supply chains.

"We are winning when you think about the fact that many people here were a part of the Obama-Biden administration," she said. It led to applause.

"What that fight required to say access to health care should be a right."
Mentions the IRA allowing Medicare to negotiate drug prices and capping the price of insulin.
"It's a game changer what we're doing on the issue of health care."

"We're finally saying that Medical debt, which is usually the result of a medical emergency...that medical debt can no longer be counted against you on your credit score," which led to applause.

"We are winning as a party."

Talks about how pundits talked about a "red wave" in 2022.

"It was a red drip."

Harris cites the midterm elections, elections last year and Wisconsin's Supreme Court races.

"What we recently announced is we've opened over 200 campaign offices across the country now"
"We're winning. Momentum is on our side, and it is important that we feel that momentum and build on it"

Harris mentions she's met more than 150 world leaders.

Harris says to kids, "When you're a role model. Here's the thing about being a role model people watch what you do to see if it matches what you say is important.
Around the world, people are watching this, and they are asking a question, who are.

The pool was sent back to the motorcade before kids began to ask the Vice President questions.
