Vice Presidential Pool Reports of September 9, 2024

VP Pool 1 — rolling to airport

Good afternoon. The motorcade began moving at 4:05.

Pool did not see VPOTUS.

A handful of people stood across from the VP’s hotel, including two waving large Trump flags, one blue, one red. Two people were holding blue Trump-Vance signs as well.

The motorcade is headed to the airport en route to Philadelphia.

VP Pool 2 — arrival at airport and takeoff.

The motorcade arrived at Pittsburgh International at 4:22 pm after an uneventful ride.

VP exited her vehicle at 4:26 in jeans and a black blazer and took a picture with her advance staff. She gave a thumbs up and said "good" when asked how she was feeling.

Then she walked up the stairs to AF 2. We are wheels up shortly for short flight to Philly.

VP Pool 3 — arrival in Philly

AF2 touched down at Philadelphia International Airport at 5:26 pm.

Pool received a 7 minute OTR visit from chief of staff Lorraine Voles during the flight.

VP exited AF2 at 5:47. She gave the pool a wave but did not answer a shouted question.

Now rolling to RON.

VP Travel Pool 4 — arrival at RON

The motorcade arrived at the RON at 606.

As the motorcade went through downtown, crowds of people snapped cellphone pictures and waved.

VP Travel Pool 5 — lid

We have a lid.
